This little place has become our go to spot in SE Alabama for home cooked meals. We originally visited after they won Best Burger in Alabama in 2018 (and it’s still great), but they truly know how to do Southern comfort foods. Be sure to try their Fried Green Tomatoes appetizer (or as a side dish). The food is great, no doubt, but we also keep going back because Ms Jackie is the sweetest, most genuine and attentive server in all of Alabama. If you’re ever even near Ozark you need to give this place a try!

While traveling this weekend we needed to stop for the night. We found a hotel easy enough but then came the big question...where do we eat? We ran across Our Place Diner so decided to give it a try. Their sign said they were known for their burgers and they are right! Our burgers were big, juicy and delicious! The home cut fries and onion rings were the best! Our server was so polite and friendly. In fact all the folks who work there made us feel like local friends. As we glanced around at other tables everyone's food looked so good. Prices were very reasonable too. We'll definitely go back again when in the area!
