Ordered a steak medium well and it was prepared marvelously. My mashed potatoes and gravy were out of this world and the vegetables were heavenly. I've never had food from the south never been to Louisiana and they made it the best experience I could ever have. Even the waitress was extremely sweet. I am anxiously awaiting the day I have money to go back again because that'll be the first choice to go eat. The atmosphere was so pleasant. I had a blast and was all smiles. Where we were seated was also very beautiful. I could turn around and look out the window and see the most beautiful scenery. Color changing lights and the water and all the plants. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fancy treat. It is a little pricey but you definitely get your money out of it.

Nice atmosphere and waitress. But they need to have "sideways" booths, with two benches, along the window. The well padded bench along the window was more comfortable so my husband and I both had to sit facing the single elderly lady at the table across from us. My Cajun Chicken Pasta was delicious 😋, but the batter on my husband's cod fish was too thick and so greasy that he peeled it off. (I didn't think to take a picture for y'all to see.) We will come back but he will definitely order something different.

I've eaten here five times and each time I think the food is even better than the last dish I had! I've been very pleasantly surprised by how good... GREAT..the food is!...well that's my opinion anyways! The chicken fried steak is really big... AND really good. The pizza is very tasty and made with quality ingredients (I got two to go this morning to take back to Dallas with me). I had the fish and chips yesterday and I absolutely loved it! The chips (yeah fries!😆) are good but the beer battered fish was just over the top fantastic....if you like something battered this is the dish for you! It was like an explosion of batter!... I savored every last bite! Everything served here seems to be a pretty big portion and this was no different. I was pretty full but let me tell you ... I was actually SAD when that fish was gone! The staff is really good too. One of the bartenders... Jeremy.. is the type of guy you'd like to drink and share your problems with! Super friendly attentive and welcoming. He sort of has a calming effect that will rub off on you. And C. J. is a sweetheart bundle of enthusiasm for sure! Great place to hang out at no doubt about it.
