I was originally a bad review for this location. I loved salt grass in Texas. But I was told new managers and staff so me and my husband decided to give it another try. I have to say I’m absolutely impressed. Food was outstanding and service was very fast and friendly. I didn’t have to ask for anything because they refilled drinks and brought everything we needed. Once again salt grass is a new favorite. Keep up the great vibe!

It was okay but not great. Our server was awesome and very sweet. My steak was undercooked, as was my baked potato. Seemed relatively plain and overpriced, in my opinion. We'd seen a lot of hype for this place and after going, not sure why. I honestly prefer Outback or Texas Roadhouse, or would rather pay barely any more to go to one of the high end steakhouses down here. /edit/ Gave them another shot and the service was terrible. It took us over 2 hours to eat here, and the wait for the table was only about 15 minutes. They weren't all that busy, and 2 hours is ridiculous either way. At one point, we put in a dessert order then watched our server talk/laugh at a nearby table for over 10 minutes having not even put our dessert order in. We finally waved her back over to which she looked displeased to be interrupted and told her nevermind. Oh, also my dad's steak was overcooked but with the amount of time we'd waited, no one wanted to wait for it to be corrected. The food that was correct was once again just "okay" but not great, esp for the price. Would recommend staying far away from this place.

Another visit and just as great as before. Our waitress Sam was AWESOME!!! She was attentive and super friendly with a great personality. Went there for my birthday and the food was excellent. We've eaten there before but this was the best steak I've had in a very long time! Extremely tender and flavorful. As always the stuffed jalapeño appetizer is amazing!
