Dining experience was quality, I ordered a beverage it was there in a timely fashion. Appetizers were delivered an appropriate time. My food was fresh hot exactly how it was described to me. Wait staff was experience and answered all my questions adequately. Quality of food and taste was amazing I can’t wait to experience this restaurant once more. I was entertained and had a good experience at this restaurant. If you are living in the Cape, You must experience Slate a good quality restaurant with a local taste and flavor .

We have been loyal customers of Slate’s Restaurant in Cape Coral for years and things are changing. Fast. We were told the new owners were going to do their best to keep everything as is. Here are the changes we have seen so far. The bouillabaisse has been changed and is not as good, the Alfredo dishes have changed and are not as good and Bob is no longer behind the bar. We patronized Slate’s because the food was consistently excellent and the staff was very welcoming. The combination of atmosphere, staff and food made for a relaxing evening whether we sat at the bar for dinner or joined several other friends in the dining room or the private room. Slates had a unique quality that is quickly slipping away. 😞

Robin and the staff here are amazing. My water goblet never went dry, and believe me I tried. My wife had the Seafood Pasta and I had the shrimp and grits. Both were incredible dishes. A band was setting up so we will definitely be back to check it out in the future. Awesome
