First time we have tried this restaurant. From beginning to end, this place was amazing. The cider braised pork shank was the best pork I have EVER had! Fall off the bone, moist and delicious. Best meal I have had in years. I highly recommend this meal and restaurant. Do not miss out on this local gem.

Best good, great service and cool atmosphere. Didn't wait long for a table (kept checking the wait list before we arrived) and food and drinks came out quickly. We have a toddler so dining experiences can be tricky. Would highly reccomend and would definitely return.

***UPDATE FOR NEW LOCATION***
The new location feels more like a warehouse than a family environment.
There is more seating. That is a plus.
The food seems to be okay.
I didn't see any "specialty burgers" on the new menu.
The wraps were very good.
There was only 1 dessert (cheesecake)
The outside area was not open because it is March in Chicago suburbs. Hopefully, that will open soon.
As life gets back to normal, I hope the menu is expanded to include more specialty items.
The old location had very unique mixes of flavors. Strawberry with balsamic vinegar was good.

Impeccable service, top notch style, and unmatched food and cocktails in this area. Honestly I can't say enough good things about this place. I've gone 3 times and my excitement only grows each time. If you're up for a fantastic meal in a really cool spot with great tunes and awesome staff members, look no further than Sovereign! Seriously only the finest ingredients are used and they are cooked to perfection! Buy the kitchen a round!

Always a jam. The staff is insanely knowledgeable, and every single person who works in the place is committed to making sure your experience is top notch, whether you are “their table” or not. Food is exquisitely prepared and thought through, don’t mind the small menu and trust your server about what’s great that night. Dig on it. One love.
