We had my son and daughter in law's wedding rehearsal dinner at the Stone Balloon. Rob, the manager, made it a perfect evening. Our waitress, Olivia, did an awesome job.
The food was great!
I highly recommend the Stone Balloon.

Ordered the “beef short rib” goulash. 90% noodles, 8% watery liquid, and maybe 2% beef. I asked the waitress about the lack of beef and she simply said “this is how it’s made”. Worse meal I have ever had. Wife’s dish was a little better but certainly not worth even the thought of a return visit. By the way, don’t believe the menu on their website. Nothing like the one in the restaurant.

Boyfriend finished the high five burger and got a sweet T-shirt. Food was pretty good. Everything was reasonably priced. The bartender, Michelle had a decent crowd of regulars that she obviously had coming back for more. She had great suggestions. Service was excellent. Loved the atmosphere.

I went to this bar in fall 1988, I’m very happy that still open 34 years later, Great job bar owner , My hats off to you you turn your place into a live in legends bar in the whole state of Delaware

Cool place, good beer. Don’t get the Nashville chicken sandwich, not much flavor and barely any chicken. Like, less meat that one chicken tender.
