My husband and I came on our honeymoon with pretty high expectations as lots of other restaurants and area businesses recommended Sweet Onion, we were not disappointed! We shared the Onion Soup and the Garden Salad with the lemongrass dressing. It was sooo good! The dressing is to die for and the onion soup was super good especially with the house biscuits dipped in! Would recommend!

Wonderful surprise in a cute little mountain town. Excellent service. Delicious food. Tasty drinks. Nice atmosphere. Try the local soda and the Cucumber Mule. Excellent French onion soup. Yummy Cheddar garlic biscuits to start the meal. Everything tastes so freshly made. There is on-street or free community parking a half block away. Average to slightly higher prices.

A dining experience you don't want to pass up. Reservations are suggested it you are not standing in line at 4:00pm when they open. Recommend the Highland Gaelic Ale to start and everything on their menu. The service is fast and personal. A real joy.

The food was amazing! Everything we had was flavorful and fresh! We even tried the fried saltines with pimento cheese and OMG, so good! The atmosphere is great too, which really makes the whole experience. I would definitely recommend coming here!

Got there late an hour half before closing. Waited 30 minutes to be seated. One at the table our waitress was fabulous. My wife had the blackened catfish with sweet potato fries. And she loved it. I had chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and okra. Okra was great fries were not hot and the chicken was paper thin with a dusting of cream gravy. Was able to get more gravy. In all it was better than average but not 5 stars. Would try a second time
