By the way that baked potato was Huge and she said that was a small one. Tender, wrapped in foil, add bacon, BBQ or grilled chicken. Amazing!
Also had the homemade banana pudding, shared it and gobbled it up so fast no pics of it. You gotta eat here!!!!!

I was proven wrong when I ate here. I never eat catfish. That said, never say never. I tried a little bit of a friend's catfish and it was actually good. I ended up eating two pieces of it. I cannot say that I never eat catfish again. This was great. It tasted like cod I still. Had a nice cornbread coating. Light and crispy. It's probably good that I'm from St. Charles, Missouri because I'd be here quite a bit to have this fish. I highly recommend it. Also, the piggy pudding is delicious!

Still very consistent which is great in the post pandemic Era. The baked potatoes are awesome. Sweet tea and desserts are good too.

combo plates are great along with the rolls be sure you ask for turnip greens not runny because I ate some turnip greens that I have to drain the fluid out of and put a little hot sauce on it it really satisfied me

Looks great from the outside. Looked great on the inside. We went in. We waited. Only one dining in area was open and full; however, no one came to us and told us how long we would have to wait. It was 11:30 so that is the normal lunch timeframe. We left as we assumed our business was not wanted. EJ’s got our lunch money and they were great!
