I've been eating at The Foundry Grill for years. It has a great atmosphere and with the big windows it brings each season inside. The menu has changed quite a bit over the years. I wish they would keep the tried and true food items on the menu. Things such as the tortilla soup, meat loaf (past recipe...the current one is too spicy), pizza's, and warm fruit cobbler. It seems like they are trying to make the menu something you'd find in New York City...not in the beautiful mountains of Utah.

I had the Hangar Steak Sandwich and it was easily the best steak sandwich I've ever eaten. At the price I expected it to be passable and was more than pleasantly surprised. If my travels ever take me within a few hours of Sundance again I will make a special trip just to eat one again. Seriously that good.

The bison was yummy but if you want something special get the Brussels sprouts and the trout. So good, and fantastic service! Definitely worth it!

We usually go to the Tree Room when we visit Sundance but decided to go to The Foundry for lunch. Our server was great and the location and atmosphere were awesome. The food was good but not great. I got the Black Angus Burger wrapped in lettuce and my wife got the Blackened Salmon tacos. The tacos were really good but the best part were the pinto beans. The burger was decent but nothing to write home about.
Side note, I didn’t get any pics of the door or restaurant but they were filming a movie when we were up there so got a clip of it 😁

The food here is always the best, everything on the menu is delicious but the brussel sprouts are an absolute must. The ambiance is warm and rustic. It is a fun place to go for lunch or dinner. Making a reservation is highly recommended.
