Best Mexican food I’ve had in VT, or at least tied with Pro Pig. The big difference is that I can get an enchilada here and it was damn good. Great beer selection as well and a nice setting by Otter Creek. Must visit!

Stopped by randomly on a trip up north and just had to stop by again on the way back down. The place has an "underground" feel to it but step outside you have wonderful outdoor seating. The food was great, the staff was fun and I triple dog dear you to try their habenero tequila shot!

6 or so VT beers. Loved the porter! So happy to finally have the best Mexican food in Middlebury. Enchiladas were excellent. Spicy margarita was the best thing ever. So happy. I'll never have to think about where to get good food again! Totally loved the hole in the wall feel. Absolutely amused by eating out of the to go containers! I'm telling everyone!

First, the food was delicious and the staff was great. Second, it's located in a nice spot near the creek where anyone can eat on the deck. I highly recommend The Mad Taco, especially if anyone is traveling through Middlebury.

Can't tell you how many times this place has come in clutch. The burritos definitely hit the spot and their pork belly is super dank. Their carnitas by the pound is a great weeknight to go option that can fuel many meals if you go pick up tortillas etc at the grocery store. Their hot sauces are also better than most other vt options though I'd love to see a wider and spicier variety like what Hand Forged Hot Sauce offers. Also huge shoutout to mad taco for having real business hours and doubling as arguably the best place in town for outdoor drinks(beautiful waterside views and great margs). Appreciate Midd Mad taco peeps keep killing the game!
