My husband and I stopped in upon seeing reviews after our hike at the quarry’s in Barre! Sooooo glad we did. Met the owners and heard their wonderful story of how the meltdown became! Thanks for sharing Diane! . The staff, atmosphere and food were truly amazing. I had the Buffalo chicken salad and my husband the Cobb! Superb. Large draft beer on tap selection. They’ve truly got it right. You will not be disappointed. Wish I took photos. Enjoyed the decor… Toes?? Find the railroad track? 😊

The Meltdown is clean, has a nice atmosphere, and served me one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches that I've ever had. With that said, it's also the most EXPENSIVE grilled cheese sandwich that I've ever had. If you're willing to put a hole in your wallet for a grilled cheese sandwich this is the place to go. I would have rated with 5 stars, but because of the price of the food, The Meltdown got a solid 3 and 3/4 stars. When I'm able to save up enough money for another excellent grilled cheese sandwich, I'll be back....

Amazing place, the terrasse is beautiful and charming. I took the lobster grilled cheese, it was delicious and full of big lobster pieces! I came all the way from Montreal and I can say that we don’t have grilled cheese this good there. Also the owners are amazing! 10/10
