Does not get better than this little gem of a bar in wnc. A superb selection of whiskey, Scotch and Bourbon besides wine and beer. The owner has a trained and refined taste for food and drink. I really do not go anywhere else anymore while in town

This was my first time at Poe. Limited menu but food was good. I had a craft cocktail served in an old fashioned champagne glass, tasty. I asked the bartender what was a strong drink she suggested one. When I got my bill that drink it was $27!!! Also served in an old fashioned champagne glass. I told the bartender she should have told me she pointed to the menu the price, wow! I’m not saying not to go there but ask about the $ unless you want to spend $27 on a very small drink. That is no way to run a business. I will not be back.

Love this place. Very quaint local dive. Pub style food but, pizza was amazing. There were lots of ale and cocktail options. And let's be honest, anything Poe is amazing. Parking is tricky so, scope out options early

This is a cozy little place. Incredible staff! Especially Josie! We had a wonderful conversation during some down down time. Still Josie knew when to give me my space to eat and enjoy food etc even though I came alone. Wonderful drink options! The food was food too especially since I am vegetarian. The Hummus was the best I've ever had! Very delicious! Also the expresso Gelato is to die for. I highly recommend this gem!

Neat little hidden venue with a well executed theme of Edgar Allen Poe. Mostly focuses on bar/speakeasy feel, but also had some amazing food! Prices reflected quality, but they weren't absurd. Check them out if you can find it!
