Heard a lot of good comments about this place. Decided to take my husband there for our anniversary. Food came out pretty fast after ordering.Tried different things which to me was okay. For the price I paid I expected awesomeness

This sushi chef is awesome great fish, great sushi. get the shishamo. its a small fish where you can eat the whole thing, mine had lots of eggs. It was divine. I also really enjoyed my hamachi carpaccio.

I love to support local small businesses and this place makes effort but falls really short considering the price. 20$ rolls that are all covered In so much sauce that all 3 of the top selling "best" rolls that I ordered taste the same. They don't put enough rice in the rolls so there's barely any starch to absorb the copious amounts of sauce so the rolls just tasted super super salty. I guess they are trying to be fancy by adding so much to each roll but with sushi there is a fine balance. These rolls were not balanced at all. Just heaps of sauce and skant amounts of rice. The fish did taste fresh though so that's a plus. I also liked how they used lemu seaweed in the miso soup. Nice touch. As far as the ambiance the lights were way too bright for me and I detest restaurants that put a huge blaring RV in the dining area. People come out to eat to get away from TV and commercials. Especially with no sound on what is the point? I wouldn't revisit this restaurants unless I just wanted some moso soup and maybe to try one of the simpler rolls but I can't see myself going out of my way to have another 80$ dinner of salty sauces.
