Superb. Food was consistently amazing, service has the class and attention of a bygone era. Ambiance is 'elevated casual,' and is as inviting as could be possible. Don't sleep on ANYTHING braised - chef has a preturnatural ability to cook low and slow. The end result? One of the best 'dollars to donuts' dining experience we've had in Maine, will absolutely be back on a weekly basis.

We aren't sure why this place is rated so high. First, be cautious, this establishment is mask optional and no one wears a mask, not even the staff. Next, the food was just okay. My husband ordered the haddock and sweet potatoes. I ordered the short ribs and mashed potatoes. The mash lacked creaminess. The short ribs were large and bone-in costing $38. Definitely not worth the price. It lacked tenderness and had too much gristle. Both my husband and I were highly disappointed. We had high expectations based on the reviews. He said the fish was better than the short ribs but the beer was the best part of the meal.
