Sadly we discovered this little jewel on our last day on the island. Their prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious. We tried the traditional loco moco. It was delicious and the meat portion was almost a half a beef! We ate on the tables provided and enjoyed the view of planes coming into the airport. Such a peaceful setting. If we return to Maui, this place will be on our list of places to eat.

I love their Wednesday and Friday specials! On Wednesday they have the roast pork and on Fridays they have the BBQ Kalbi Ribs and BBQ chicken. You can smell the aroma of the Kiawe BBQ every Friday and it always draws me in that I have to make a stop and buy some. They have the best prices on the island for plate lunches and mini sized plate lunches as well (half the size of a regular). And it’s worth the drive for the quality, aloha spirit and value.

As always, delicious wood fire cooked Kalbi and bbq chicken plate lunch with rice, corn and kimchee! Beautiful scene eating at the picnic tables. Excellent Aloha Friday!
