The food is pricey, but excellent. It's a great place to go for special occasions. Nice atmosphere at the bar. The bartenders are always friendly and very knowledgeable.

I generally don't favor hotel restaurants but after reading many positive reviews I was willing to give Wissota Chophouse a try and I am very glad I did! Walking in you see a nicely decorated space comparable to a high-end restaurant in a major metropolitan area.
The menu had so many great choices it was very hard to decide what to get. In the end my wife and I both decided to get a steak since that is the primary focus of this restaurant.
The steaks were amazing! Perfectly seasoned and cooked! Some of the high-end steak houses (I'm talking about you Ruth's Chris) could learn a lesson or two from this restaurant. The sides to share were also excellent and we left with enough food for another meal or two.
I can't leave without mentioning the exceptional service. Our water glasses were refilled when half empty. This is something small but shows a great deal about a restaurant. The staff was very attentive, and our waitress Meghen W was exceptional.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a high-end steakhouse without the stress of going to a major metropolitan area. We will definitely be back to this restaurant again!

The best dining experience sitting at the bar I have ever had! Bonnie and chef Matt are the best in the business! Asked for the chef to make me something he wanted to cook not on the menu, F'n amazing!!! I will definitely make another day trip for the experience. Thanks much.

This place was great. Service was great, I enjoyed the atmosphere, and the drinks were good and fairly priced.
The food was delicious (bone marrow, 2 steaks and risotto). It is pretty expensive, but that's to be expected for a good steak.
