This Korean restaurant has a short menu with options for protein. The seating area is casual and clean and the service is friendly and unobtrusive. There are two bathrooms (men and women, but they are single rooms so it doesn't matter). Bibimbab bowl comes out burning hot- be careful! (That's the way it should be!)

Food was phenomenal, prices weren't bad. The server was polite and helpful however my only complaint is that although the service was mostly good, my mom and I were being stared at the whole meal by the server. At one point a woman and another man who we think was the chef came out and also watched us. We were the only ones there, so I get that there's not much to look at... But out of respect for the customer, and the fact that it made the whole ordeal very uncomfortable, I wish they had stared and so I'm giving a four star review. We didn't do anything knowingly disrespectful and we weren't being loud or rude or anything of the sort so I'm not sure what provoked the staring. Maybe there's cultural differences I'm unaware of, but it was obvious that they knew it wasn't right to do because when my mom looked up, they quickly looked away but went back to staring shortly after.

One of my favorite Korean food places. I love their soft tofu soup.
deby x.
Definitely delicious and will return! Three of us ordered the Soybean Paste Stew and we all loved the hot savory broth, and the flavorful zucchini and onions. I got the stew with seafood, which had hard-cooked shrimp and octopus, but added delicious flavor.
WooRi is a family restaurant and they offer complimentary appetizers fresh every day! (Tip them for that!!) They are tasty and diverse, and include kimchi cabbage, pickled radish, carrot slaw, and more.
The environment is modest, with bright lights, hard square tables, small plants in recycled jars, and open seating.
The woman (owner) with cool glasses is the nicest and most attentive! Would recommend WooRi!

This is a neighborhood gem. Simple focused menu with something for most people. All dishes well executed. Have the bibimbap. Crispy spices chicken ia delicious. Kimchi pancake tastes good but can be a little floppy. Not floppy enough to take a star. The spicy soup is terrific on chilly nights. I like it best with tofu, no meat. Their cinnamon spiced tea is good hot or cold. I think you'll enjoy it.
