Agave is easily the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. The food tastes so fresh, the queso has a great consistency as well as flavor, the margaritas are strong and delicious, and the staff is welcoming and kind despite the busy atmosphere. Prices are reasonable for the elevated quality. I would definitely recommend trying this place out, but keep in mind, they stay very popular and don't accept reservations, so there can sometimes be a wait. It is easy to go in and put your name down and mill around the shops on Second Street while you wait for your table to be ready. Such a cute location, and a must-visit every time I'm in Lewes.

The nachos were amazing. I wondered what we'd get for our money, given the price and location, but food was scratch made from quality ingredients and extremely tasty. Worth every penny. I highly recommend the jalapeno cornbread! So much more on the menu that I want to try, so we will return on our next trip to Lewes.

Wonderful moderately priced restaurant in a town with quite a few higher priced restaurants. Great atmosphere, food and staff. Drinks were very refreshing. We were fortunate to get a table for two on Sat night without a wait arriving at 8:45 pm. No reservations.

Atmosphere beautiful (although a little noisy). Nothing really bad to say but just not worth the hype. Food was good but I can get the same thing at the standard Mexican restaurant down the street (and pay about half the price). Again, everything tasted great but I just don't see what all the fuss is about. Would rather get more variety, larger portions, and better value elsewhere.

We have been to this place a few times. Most recently we went with children, including one that was eating some food and still breastfeeding. Their drinks and food are excellent! They have great gluten free options and for once we were able to get in almost immediately. However the place really is not set up for nor welcoming of young children. You could tell by the way our waitress treated our table/ reacted to neighboring tables. However, I will note that our neighboring tables were super friendly and did not acknowledge any concerns, etc.
