I made my dog cry. I'm not proud, but the payoff was worth it. He normally goes into a crate when we eat dinner. Well the sounds and the smells coming from the kitchen tonight were a bit overwhelming. I would have to say like others, why did I pass this place up so many times and not just go in? My loss!!! I had a misconception about maybe a franchise business, that I never even tried. I was completely wrong. I've had the opportunity to travel down south and try barbecue and smoked foods at some really unique places. This was top-notch right there with them. Everything that we had was absolutely phenomenal. We had pork, chicken and polish sausage. We also had macaroni and cheese, loaded baked potato salad green beans, coleslaw and all the fixings to go with it. I think I possibly may have had a coming to Jesus meeting. I'm not sure I'll ever be the same. Unbelievable!!!! If I ever left one review that said put down your phone now and go, I'm telling you GO. There is nothing like a smoked pulled pork sandwich covered with barbecue and coleslaw on it. Big kudos to the wonderful employees. They were very helpful in helping me pick and choose, letting me take my time. I got to sample some meats before I tried it and they were nothing but friendly, and efficient. The food was nice and hot and tasty is a understatement. This is a smoke meat lovers dream.

My family loves the food. I get the Schooner about twice a week for lunch. It's so good! I'm addicted! The girls that work there are awesome as well! They are always very friendly and make my salad to perfection.

The food is good and I go there once or twice a month. Pricing is above average for counter service fast food, but then not everyone has pulled pork and brisket. Had a semi negative experience. A sandwich drink and a side is $12 on the menu. Then every table has a daily special sign on it advertising the same meal for $7.99. I pointed this out and got a bit of attitude in the answer from the young gal behind the counter that "We give the Special price if you ask for it when you order, I can refund you if you want". That's pretty lame, no Special on the menu or automatically logged on the register, then you see your identical meal advertised when you sit down to eat or not at all if you order to go.
