When the owner came out from the kitchen I told him his portions were SO generous. My meatloaf was 2 pieces about 2 " thick with carrots, mashed potatoes and gravy, soup and dessert. He went into the kitchen and came back with 2 very large containers of chicken dumpling soup for me to take home on the house. Very nice man.

the waitresses are always very nice and kind and food comes quickly, the place is just always disgustingly dirty and dingy. really needs some updates but then again, that's also kinda the appeal of the place. either way, the coffee is horrendous. please do something. stop serving it in adidas thermoses and serve it in a coffee pot. please. it also tastes like water. please. brew coffee. i do it at home. it is not hard.
