Everyone has a favorite thing to do, our thing is dining out. Whether it is a side street cafe in Thailand or a steak house in the midst of cattle country, my wife and I enjoy dining out. Our experience at Bonefish Grill was nothing short of impeccable; absolutely faultless. Our server, Dimitri, was as gracious and attentive as one could possibly expect. My meal was so expertly prepared that I could not contain myself and consumed the entire plate, even though I had already gone through an appetizer. Being Feb 14, we had to wait a little while beyond our reservation time; no problem, the drinks were delicious. You will not be disappointed. Three years later and we have been here approximately 10 times, and every time is exceptional. Today we had the Imperial appetizer along with the go to 'Bang Bang Shrimp' and the Dynamite Salmon. Together the meal was a savory delight, almost overpowering, but it was so good. We finished with the Carrot Lava Cake at my request; however, everytime I reached for a bite my wife slapped my hand. She said this was the only time in her life that she enjoyed carrot cake. If you are fortunate, Job will be your server.

This was my second time coming here and I was a bit disappointed in the food. The bang bang shrimp was just as amazing as the first time, but everything else was very lackluster. The seasonal watermelon martini wasn’t too bad, but it didn’t have much flavor. I ordered the fish and chips, and the most flavorful part of it was the ketchup that came with the fries. The tartar was very light in flavor, and I could barely taste anything in the cod at all, which was disappointing since I was looking forward to that meal. My partner ordered the salmon, and the thing that saved the flavor was the garlic whipped potatoes. Wasn’t too bad, but wasn’t what we were expecting. The service was amazing though! Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we got what we needed without bothering us too much. Maybe in the future I’ll give it another try.

We aren't fans of restaurant chains, but Bonefish is one of the better chains out there. The smoked old fashioned was surprisingly spot on. The food was enjoyable, but not great. Service was very good. The only negative was that my salad arrived with my meal which was odd. Otherwise this is probably a good choice for consistency when seeking a good meal. It won't wow you, but it likely won't disappoint either.
