Really nice people, I had 2 tacos al carbon and split nachos with my wife. So good I ordered 2 more tacos. Even though it was the end of the night and they had large parties of families and Boy Scouts come in they did a great job looking after us, refilling drinks, water, chips and updating us on our order. Don’t let the looks fool you, it’s good eats if you’re passing through.

Rooms are very large and clean. They are very dated, however. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Towels were very small and thin and linens were a little thin as well. Felt a little over priced for what it was. Food was not as great as everyone seemed to indicate in their reviews. The fajitas were basically flavorless. We had to dump on the hot salsa (which was delicious) to give it any flavor. Same with breakfast. We ordered the breakfast skillet, which was the fajita veggies, some potatoes, and some cheese. Again, not a lot of flavor. Not sure what was up with our cook. Great veggies all real fresh and cooked well, just no seasoning. Overall a decent place to stay and eat.

Very nice place to spend the night. My room was very reasonably priced, clean and had a home like feel. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise that reminded me of my favorite hometown eatery and starkly contrasted the chain establishments that dot the interstate. The staff were respectful, but in a warm, welcoming way.
