This place is absolutely amazing and we were so happy to find it on our road trip! 11/10 would recommend to anyone nearby. We had several cocktails which were all very delicious, and the bar staff was super talented and knowledgeable and made lots of great recommendations based on our preferences. The food we ordered was also yummy, and I have never seen such a giant pretzel in all my life! Definitely ask about the history of the building if you end up coming here - it is fascinating! :)

Food was tasty. The large pretzels are enormous but tasteless. The sandwich selection was decent and tasty but two of the group had to change their order because the kitchen didn't have the ingredients. Needless to say the delivery was later than the rest of the orders. We're out of the liquor they are supposed to make..Nice outdoor seating area. Service was friendly but SLOW. Had to ask for missing entree which seemed like chef boyardee in a bread and was cool. Had to go inside to get checks and take care of payment. Was told to wait ....

Let me tell you, the bartenders are top-notch! The staff overall is always very friendly and welcoming. Good beer, wine, cocktails, and food! My significant other and I enjoy hanging out here and having a good meal with a few drinks -- or even playing a little trivia on occasion. This has easily become one of my favorite places in town. Very clean, very cozy, cool music and decor, and some heavy cocktails! I am so happy to have Gate City as a go-to favorite place! You rock!
