Dive-y old pub with a historic bar, excellent food, and very friendly service. We were there twice and were impressed both times. Nice outdoor seating too if the weather allows. This’ll be the first place we go next time we’re in Belfast.

The food has scaled back in the last few years. I'm sure they have struggled. They still have a good menu to go with a few drinks. Always very kind staff. I like the outdoor seating where you can sit and get a view of the center of town.

2 stars because the staff was nice and friendly. But the food felt like it was microwaved. Rice was mushy, burrito didn’t taste anything, no spices were used (or at least not enough to taste it!), the fish from the fish and chip was probably frozen food... I mean I tried to find something good and the only thing that saved my dish and gave some taste to my burrito was the salsa and the sour cream (but probably from a can). Definitely not the right place to eat, but I know they’ve changed management recently so maybe they need time to adapt.
