Made a reservation so easy to get our table. Drinks were great. Grilled shrimp was a good starter. The stuffed chicken breast was incredible. Only gave it four stars because I wasn't pleased with the fried pork chops and potatoes, I couldn't eat it because the potatoes had too much pepper and the gravy on the pork chop had too much salt. Staff was attentive and friendly. Great location to walk around downtown as well.

So to start with the food was absolutely amazing! But the hostess was subsequently not efficient in her position which could stem from the management! We did not have a reservation and took the option to sit at the bar or we could not eat there! After being seated at the bar we received a warm welcome from Cory. We had a few drinks with our food which came out rather fast! Thirty minutes into being seated we noticed that there was only 15% of the seating in the entire restaurant being used! By the time we were getting ready to leave still only 20% of the seating had been used! The waitress approached us and asked if she could “scoot us down” for them to fit more people into a 80% full bar because they didn’t want to sit people at the other 80% of the restaurant that wasn’t being used! So after an hour of being there watching this unfold I was utterly disappointed in the fact that I couldn’t be seated because I didn’t have a reservation and watched multiple couples turned away with obvious open seating available! So Mark you could definitely step up and improve your management and insure seats are filled rather then rely totally on the satisfaction of reservations! If you’re restaurant is a reservation only business, you should have that publicly posted.

I had the pork chops every time I ate there. Incredible!!! I didn't need the menu because I worked downtown for 10 years. This was one of my regular stops for lunch.
This is a unique place. You can still see the original 80+ year old walls. The second floor was removed. So you can see where all the floor joist were.

Not a good experience. We had a reservation for 730 on 9/25th to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Unfortunately for us there was a large party/table of customers which greatly delayed receiving our food. Our server, Michael, did his best. He apologized for the delay and repeatedly went to the kitchen to see what was going but to no avail. We arrived at 730 but did not receive our food until @ 939. Two of the same entrees ordered, when received, were cold and the portions were drastically different. Our server asked if we wanted them remade; we told them no. One entree was removed from the bill. We will not be going back. When you pay what our bill was and left the establishment hungry, it is not a good feeling.

Great atmosphere and service. Food presentation absolutely beautiful. The taste was a little bland to me (scallops as and fried green tomatoes). The fried pimento was probably the best thing that I tried. Others in my party enjoyed their food.
