Kurtis! Hands down one of the friendliest waiters I’ve ever had! He was very attentive and helpful when choosing what to get. He gets 5 stars! The food was okay. My party of 5 got a range of things and some better than others. The chicken noodle soup and grilled cheese with tomato sauce was good. The tuna poke bowl was interesting. It was super spicy and not what I expected.

Went for Thanksgiving dinner. Liked the menu for Thanksgiving...had options for each course which was nice! We sat outside and surprisingly it was comfortable. We had to wait a while for someone to light the propane heater but once they did it was cozy.
The reason for the 4 star rating was because the pumpkin cheesecake had the consistency of pudding, the cheesecake had no form...not my idea of cheesecake. I was looking forward to the dessert and was turned off by this.
Founding Farmers is reputed to have awesome food but we only ate there during Thanksgiving.

We ate at this restaurant twice while we were in DC. It was down the street from our hotel. The food was very good. The menu was varied. The servers were excellent. It was a great place to go for a good meal, after a busy day in town.
The service was a little slow, as far as getting our food because there weren’t as many servers as they needed this week...just getting over the pandemic and they were full. However, the servers were all very attentive and extremely nice as they came around often, making sure that we had all that we needed. We never felt neglected.
We will definitely go back there when we are in town.

Really great meal and service. Went here for dinner with coworkers. Our server Hope was great. She gave recommendations and was really friendly and helpful. There are a lot of great options on the menu. They were out of a few things but everyone really enjoyed their meals. Portions were great. I ordered the chicken and waffles and it did not disappoint. A few things, the gravy it comes with is outstanding, the syrup is pretty watery, and the chicken is bone it. Green beans and mac was great too. Cocktails took some time to come out but everyone enjoyed them. I'd definitely come back and would recommend this spot!

We had a couple of breakfasts and a dinner while staying nearby. Food was mostly excellent. Fabulous French toast. The pork chop was great. Delicious cornbread. Strip steak and enchiladas were nothing special though. But overall a good stop worth visiting. Very busy but we did take out ordered online and the ETA was off by just a few minutes, so pickup was convenient.
