My family and my friend ate here. Our server was Noah (who I actually know personally) and was very accommodating and friendly, as he’s actually been friends with me for years, so why wouldn’t he be?) Chicken Cheesesteak came out great, as well as the Parmesan Truffle Fries (I feel like the Parmesan cheese could've either been melted or grated instead of just strips of the cheese over it.) Enjoyed my meal still, and will return!

Fantastic setting, indoor or out. Quick and friendly service with plenty of menu options. Easy access from the biking trail or visit by car with abundant parking at the ferry lot.

Bartender and staff are excellent. Friendly, nice, efficient service. The food has always been spot on. Have enjoyed breakfast and lunch quite often as we are regular ferry travelers. HOWEVER, WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CRUSHES???? Used to be my fav - now I need to pick new drink. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. The Grain deserves 5 stars but I cannot do that because they changed my CRUSH! Don't fix what ain't broken!

The food and drinks were decent, but the young hostess was very rude and snarky and the management was very unaccommodating! A large group of us met for a gathering and placed our names on the waitlist. We miscounted how many people would be joining us, so when we sat down we needed an extra seat. We asked if we could please pull over another table to make room for everyone and make sure we could sit comfortably around the table with our food, and they refused!!! They said they needed the extra tables "in case" they needed to seat someone else! There were three tables around us, that sat empty the whole entire time we were there...yet, when asked again if we could please use an extra table, they still refused! They could see that we were crammed, and had no room for all our food, but they didn't help us and just told us we were going to have to just make it work. I could see if it was a busy time on a weekend, but it was a Monday night! So disappointed in their customer service!! Think about going elsewhere is you have several friends joining you!

Asked the hostesses if we could order takeout a few minutes after 7pm on a Friday as we were getting on the 7:45 ferry and knew we wouldn’t have time to sit down. Both young women started shaking their heads ‘no’ the moment I mention we were getting on the ferry and stopped listening to anything I had to say after that. I was then told they only offer takeout Monday-Thursday — why not post this important info on your website? Or anywhere in the restaurant? This isn’t my first bad experience with a Grain restaurant, but it will be my last. Judging by recent reviews it sounds like we dodged a bullet, but seriously — at the very least, don’t allow your hostesses to speak to people in the manner that they are. Never in my years of working in food service would I have spoken this way to a customer.
