My ex and I have been to the Honolulu restaurant several times over the last few months and have never been disappointed. The food is of the highest quality - fresh, carefully prepared, and plated with generous portions. The wait staff are attentive, polite, and never pushy, which makes for a very relaxed dining experience. With its expansive menu and attractive decor, Gyotaku well deserves its excellent reputation as a top tier dining establishment. Great Japanese food! The restaurant itself could use a little updating, but I don't think this place is hurting for business because there's groups of people waiting to be seated! Seems like they have a great formula....awesome food + great service = happy, return patrons!!
