We dined outside with reservations on a Saturday night to celebrate our anniversary. The main entrees deserve 4 stars. But on the whole, this place feels disjointed. The service and ambiance do not match the prices at all. It feels like they aimed high, but missed the mark.
I feel like, if you’re going to push bottled water service, bottles of wine vs glasses, etc., you’ve also got to do better than a cutter brand mosquito candle on a cheap patio set, that never gets lit even though the bugs are pretty bad. You have to refill iced teas, and at least check on tables once to make sure food is good and orders are right, etc., especially if you didn’t bring the order out yourself. You have to not argue back about what the server told you when you repeatedly bring other people’s orders to our table and we kindly tell you that’s not ours. You have to have better attention to detail in general. Potted plants in plastic pots sitting inside oversized pot hangars that don’t match… it’s a mood on the patio, but it’s not the right one at all.
Disjointed really is the right word, and at these prices, you need to get more of the night right. With all the choices in Lewes, I wouldn’t choose this again.

My husband and I went to try this place for our first time. We were excited when we asked about the specials and the server told us they had tomahawk steak. We asked if it was fatty and the server told us no. So we ordered it medium well done. It was medium rare and edges were burnt and hard to cut through all the fat. I asked for the soup special and they told me it was chicken wild rice soup and when I got the soup it was a broth based soup and not a cream based soup which should have been explained. Also no taste to the broth. Also the truffle fries we ordered were shoestring fries with honey drizzled on them and were disgusting. No salt or pepper added to the food or the table to taste and everything was bland. We spent over 250 dollars and left hungry because we didn't want to eat much of it. Oh not to mention the asparagus tasted like it came right outta the ground. Like you could taste the dirt. Also do not sit at the bench tables as the space between the table and bench are only maybe 6 inches. Very uncomfortable

Amazing. Simply amazing. Among the best calamari we've had (in large part due to the sauce). The star of the show was the Tide Bouillabaisse. Unbelievable. And apparently ranked among the Top 10 in the country. The Vesper was better than average, but regular cocktails might be a better bet. We didn't order steak, but the next table over did and the portion looked big enough to tip over the Flintstone's car.

We had a wonderful dinner for my husbands birthday. Our waitress, Marissa was great! When asked for recommendations she offered them quickly and they were spot on. We will definitely be back and ask for Marissa again.

Food was different and good... quiet conversations around the room as a gentleman played his guitar... going through several genres of music... the server was experienced and very helpful... nice place for adults
