We went to Helena's twice in our trip and wanted to go back again! First time, line for dine in was long but we didn't mind. Ordered take out and got it within 10 minutes. We couldn't find anywhere close to eat but couldn't wait! Second time we ate in and it was even better! Their Kaluah pig was amazing as was everything else we had! Staff are excellent, food is delicious and serving time so quick! Go to Helena's, you won't regret it!

We decided to try a Hawaiian restaurant for lunch. First of all, make sure to register on the tablet outside if there is a line. And it was quite long when we got there, but it moves very fast. Also there is a QR code outside so you can see the menu. The food was good and the short ribs were amazing! I wish we had gotten more if anything. The service was lackluster, but they do move you through quickly. I can see why it is so popular.

My family and I were excited to try some down home Hawaiin food, and became more excited when we saw the line outside feeling "this must really be good". It was a bit disappointing because maybe it's the time of day we came but the part I really came for were the ribs and they were re-heated, tough and dry. The rice had been re-heated as well. Our food came out fast but it was because it seemed like it was sitting there, reheated and they just gave us that. The pictures on this site look great but our food not so much. I feel although we arrived later in the day the food should still be fresh. The staff was great, both friendly and informative. It was authentic Hawaiian, but quality control is important.
