This was my first time visiting Handel's Cafe. Let me begin by giving Erin, my waitress a shout out! Upon my arrival she was very attentive and pleasant throughout my dining experience. Furthermore, when other guests came she remained on her "A-game!" Thank you Erin for giving me a pleasurable experience! As far as my meal, I ordered stuffed mushrooms 🍄 for my appetizer. They were stuffed crab meat and cream cheese. 😋 yummy, yummy! Next, I ordered a turkey club and side salad for my main course. My sandwich was stacked so high, I could only eat half. My salad 🥗 not only did it look fresh, it tastes fresh as well. Last but definitely not least, I ordered the salty crusted Carmel cake for desert, OMG! It was so moist and delicious 😋, the Carmel was just right ✅️. I will definitely be back. I have to introduce my friends to Handel's. I used to her various people mention this place. I know exactly what they mean now. See you next time Hendel's!!!!!

My 96-yr-old father really likes this restaurant. It had been a favorite of my late mother, and it has fond remembrances for him. So, my siblings and I, and other family members usually take him there for special occasions. We all went there on the Saturday before Father's Day, maybe ten of us including a toddler. We did have reservations, and met I believe at noon. The service is always impeccable, despite the lively camaraderie going on. The menu is not so extensive as to make choosing a chore, but everyone found something to their liking. We always have an enjoyable experience there. I recommend you make reservations, as it's not a large dining room.

What a great little neighborhood supper spot! This part of Florissant looks just like it looked years ago when this place was the local market. The food was way above the average and the service and hospitality was great. My fish tacos were hot and delicious and the fries are definitely not the normal type for the area. Great job! Keep it up!
