The restaurant itself is charming and has a nice history to it. Offers steaks and BBQ. Good selection of drinks and cocktails as well. The steaks are okay. Not the best, not the worst. I asked for my steak rare and it came out medium. That's just cardinal for a steakhouse. I didn't make a fuss or send it back, just ate it because I don't believe in wasting food. I'd still recommend this place because staff are quite friendly.

Entrees: Ordered a prime rib, medium, and it was just a hair under. Ordered spare ribs and they were just a bit under, and possibly on the dry side. Top sirloin was passable. Everything just felt undercooked and wasn't all that tender. Sides: Mushrooms felt pointless to order and the smoked onion was...undesirable, somehow-still not sure on that one; I guess it was...gamey? Garlic bread was a bit oily, but enjoyable. Salad was stock salad, not spectacular, but not rotten, just the kind of stuff you'd get in a public school cafeteria. Potatoes are potatoes; would maybe prefer them with something that gives more contrast like spring onions or crunchy bits to stand out. Sauce: The sauce is very much tomato based and on the sweet end, and almost nothing else; personally not a fan. It felt like extra sweet ketchup and lacked enough sour to make me want it on my ribs. I hate A1 and I preferred that in this case. All in all, it's food, but I've made/had better, and it might not be worth the price tag to some.

This is the best steak that I am aware of in Santa Clara County. No lie. I've been going here since my late teens, and they have never once disappointed me. Not an easy feat. Highly recommended.
