Food is good, so is the service, USUALLY that is. But the last time I was there, it just wasn't it. It happened to be my college move-in day, and my mom and I decided to have something to eat before she left. We decided on Highland House since it was the closest and since I've had good experiences there before. But the waiter wasn't nice at all, both my mom and I didn't feel welcomed. They took a long time before we were able to order. Then my mom's food came out, but 10+ minutes passed, and mine wasn't out yet. Turns out, they didn't put my order in because the waiter forgot, although they did write it down! By the time my food came out, my mom had to leave for work so I had to bring it to-go. They weren't apologetic either! One of the worst restaurant services I have gotten! It was suppose to be a happy day for me, but the experience definitely did change that for me!

Awesome place friendly staff amazing food. Love the drinks. Had an amazing time. My fiancee has been going there since she was 5 years old absolutely love it!

This used to be my go-to happy place. I loved the drinks and the bar staff, they really made it an experience. I haven't been here in awhile due to starting a family, but the past couple of times we have been here the food has not been that great. The drinks were great still of course, but the friendly bar staff I remembered have mostly all moved on. That being said, I would definitely still go back.
