When they first opened the food was reasonably priced delicious and it was a nice place to sit and have a meal and socialize. NOW!? The menu is something you would find in some yuppie neighborhood, 25 dollars for a burger!!! yikes. We are in the Midwest, not in some gentrified neighborhood in Chicago very disappointed and sad, not one of your finer moves Houdini's, I think Harry Houdini would be ashamed to have his name linked to something like this. Was very unimpressed with my meal and the atmosphere in general. Altogether for two people my bill was over 100 not including tip.😱

Fish tacos were good. However it is very loud inside. So if you're going to talk or want somewhere quiet this is not the best choice

Pot stickers were SO GREAT!!!! Everything else was good, not great. Not much to the Houdini theme besides wall decorations. Would go there again.

October 2020: Houdini’s actually CARES that we are still in the midst of a pandemic. They are super careful with distancing, cleanliness, wearing masks and taking temperatures of their guests upon arrival. This is so refreshing to see since many other places have either grown weary of having to take precautions or they have taken a political stand and are too selfish to do the hard work it takes to stop the spread of Covid. We have been going here for years and their food is always excellent as are the employees.
