I had ordered the Cozzy Double, which came with two waffles and some chicken. Now, waffles are typically supposed to be crispy, but these weren’t. The waffles were cold, chewy and stretchy. Might as well have called it a pancake, but even then, pancakes aren’t supposed to stretch like that. They tasted fine, but the texture was terrible. Last time I was here, the waffles were perfectly hot, golden, and crispy, so I’m not sure what went wrong this time. I didn’t bring anything up while I was dining, as the waitress already seemed to be having a terrible day. I didn’t want to upset her more. Overall, a two-star is what I’d give this.

My husband and I saw the Cozzy Corner on Wisconsin Foodie and decided to give it a try for dinner. It was very busy granted it was also Mother’s Day: The restaurant also did not take any reservations and parking was hard to find. When we arrived our waitress cleaned a table and sat us immediately. We told her that it was our first time here and she went over the menu with us. Our waitress was very attentive. The other waitress seemed to be all over the place. She was extremely loud and kept telling us that someone she knew was shot and might die. Other families dining it also seemed very displeased with her service as one table even got up and left. She was very unprofessional. We waited quite a while for our food but our waitress kept checking on us and keeping us updated. The restaurant was very busy and they seemed short staffed. I had the chicken and waffles and I was very good . My husband had chicken and ribs and he was very happy. I’d suggest different flavors of ice tea.
