Food and drinks were great. Service excellent. It took a while for the food to come out but they cook everything fresh and we had a large group on a Saturday afternoon. Decor is really nice and the wood chairs are high to the table so you don't feel like your sitting on the floor looking over the edge of the table if you're short. They also have comfortable cushions. It is an open airy restaurant tables aren't crowded together so you can talk with your group without disturbing others. We had a great time and will go back.

We have been here many times, and each time is just a little more underwhelming than the last.
Today was actually more on the disappointed side, starting with the chips and salsa. Was only brought mild salsa, had to ask for green one. Neither was up to the normal standard. Chips didn't seem homemade or fresh. Rice seemed to maybe be from last night. Beans were a bit soupy, but tasty. (But then again, it was only 11 am.) Only saving grace was that our taco combinations were great.
It just seemed that you have a new chef that is more interested in shortcuts.
The thing I used to love about that place is the freshness and creativity of flavors you had when you first opened.
By the way, staff is still very attentive.
We hope you recheck that food quality.

Good food, but expensive.

The server was amazing very attentively nice, the food however could use some work. Went there for my son's birthday dinner because we really enjoyed the food when we went for Mother's Day and my son loved the Carne Oaxaca there. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the food. We asked for the steak to be rare and when we got it, it was well done not even medium rare. The beans were salty and the salad looked like someone just gave us a pinch of lettuce. We didn't finish our food. The dessert which was the fried cheesecake was good that we finished. Service was great food not so much.

Stopped here on our way home from Chicago. Was a little concerned that the restaurant was a little way off the beaten path but it was well WORTH the little extra drive. Food is hands down amazing! Our server was jobbing and the food was out super fast despite it being rather busy. Highly recommend.
