This hidden gem is an experience to indulge. All the food is made from scratch and leaves you wanting more. The orange cream sauce is amazing. The deserts are the best I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend this place enough. The experience is to have a slow dinner and enjoy the amazing recipes by Luis and his staff. Our family, including our picky children look forward to each dining experience. Thank you to Luis and his staff 🙂

Our waitress was super nice but a bit disappointed in the overall experience. We were looking for some good, authentic Italian cuisine as the La Crosse area lacks it a bit. We ordered the calamari appetizer and an eggplant one. Both were disappointing to say the least. The calamari was overcooked and we didn't say anything about it because that is a very delicate dish to cook just right (should be tender, not chewy). The eggplant came out and we were gambling anyway as everyone has a different taste preference. I took one bite and had to spit it out because it was so bitter and had my friend try it just to confirm that it wasn't just me. This one, we did acknowledge we couldn't eat when we were asked how everything tasted. Whatever. Anyway, I mentioned twice that I'd like their mushroom soup to go because that actually was fabulous but got a, "I'll see what we can do", upon the first request and upon the second, "sorry". My friend and I have both worked in the restaurant industry and he manages a restaurant currently. We both agreed it was handled poorly. It was just not an ideal experience and we will not be back.
