I cannot stress enough, BEST CHICKEN FRIED STEAK IN TEXAS!! I have tried this everywhere and I can confidently say, this is the BEST chicken fried steak. The staff is always fantastic and helpful. Even when they are busy, we are always well taken care of. They accommodated a big table of 9 for us when we dined in. Reservations are needed! Even on a random Tuesday, reservations are always needed. We have tried the fried chicken, catfish, chicken pot pie. All amazing! There is not one thing on the menu that hasn’t been good. Their mac and cheese is to die for. The desserts they rotate are also amazing. I have zero negative comments on this place. It is a regular stop for us when I have to impress people with Houston cooking!

We were seated by a pleasant hostess as soon as we came in our great waitress was at our table in a flash. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu items, which was great since it was our first time. She gave just the right amount of service the entire time we were there. While I did find it a bit pricey, all the food was really good, with nice portion sizes. The onion rings were fantastic!

Delicious. This place has a great happy hour and great food. Came with a friend tonight. We both had the pork belly burnt ends appetizer, and the half fried chicken with Mashed Potatoes and a roll. So damn good. I've never had a bad experience here. Be sure to get a reservation, and enjoy. Service is great. Would absolutely recommend.
