Great,friendly service. Home style atmosphere. The food is made with lots of love and attention. I got a meatloaf breakfast skillet which was a really nice surprise. The meatloaf texture was spot on, and tasted like my Grandma's. The home-made cinnamon apple toast is a must have! Not too sweet, served toasted, warm and buttery! Don't miss this spot.

As I've said many times, customer service can make or break an experience. Unfortunately for this establishment, the customer service very much broke this experience. Coming inside, I was no greeted. I bring this up, not because it was particularly a problem, but every guest after me was. I had to ask if I could sit at the counter, as it was just myself, as no one asked me where I'd like to sit while I stood at the sign that said "please wait to be seated." After sitting, I still waited a few to receive a menu, as the waitresses were more concerned chatting with others at the counter than anything else. Once I received my menu I was asked what I'd like to drink and I just asked for water. When she came back I mentioned what I'd like, and that was basically the last time she interacted with me. The glass the water came in also wasn't cleaned well, as I had a floaty, but to get any interaction with my waitress was pretty much impossible. The meal came quick, as it wasn't that busy when I arrived, but it was just slid to me without a word. She then spent her time talking to the others and having conversations with other guest who arrived. I had to make sure I didn't have a shirt on saying "don't talk to me leave me alone" as I wasn't sure why else I was receiving this kind of service. I would say please or thank you, no response. She did the very bare minimum with interacting with me as she possibly could. The food was not bad. The chocolate chip pancake was good. Crispy edges, soft interior, melted chocolate chips. The egg skillet with hash brown was pretty bland, though. Neither the eggs nor the hash browns were seasoned at all. Not once was I asked if I wanted a refill of water, as I was empty for a while, how my food was, if I wanted anything else, etc. Just a slip slid over the me without a word and that was it. I give this a 2 instead of a 1 only because the food wasn't that bad, but it was pricy. $21 for small egg skillet and a single pancake for one person. I wouldn't mind the prices if the service was even 50% better. I couldn't figure out why she was this way towards me, as every other customer who came after me she seemed to be very kind and attentive to. If you're a regular, I'm sure you love their place. As it seemed everyone else knew each other. If you're just looking for a place for breakfast, unfortunately isn't good enough to be worth your time. Between the decent enough food, high prices and pretty poor service, there are better options for breakfast in the local area to go to instead.

We loved it. Everything we had was AWESOME! The 2 waitresses were just absolutely phenomenal at their jobs and keeping a 4&2 year old happy. We had pancakes that were thick and huge and perfectly done, crispy has browns, eggs cooked the way each of us asked, bacon was crispy and did not taste like grease it was also thick, and the sausage links are WONDERFUL! You can also get real Maine syrup and coffee.
