The Duck Pub is worth going out of your way a little bit. It's even worth making a special trip. Very enjoyable lunch here the other day. Everything was great from the quality of the food to portion size to service. Meaty wings with house made sauces, crispy house cut fries and onion rings and a whole filet of fresh fried haddock were all excellent. The bartender was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. It's apparent that the kitchen staff and management are committed to providing a quality dining experience. Highly recommend!

We ordered the steak with smashed potatoes and asparagus. It was great. Also the fish and chips. Very good. And the fried chicken sandwich with fries. we got it to go. Will definitely eat there again

I'm sure this is a great choice for an after-golf meal, but if you're going for dinner with good ambiance, this isn't a great choice. We sat in the downstairs bar and there was no music or other background noise like a game on TV. It was so quiet we felt totally uncomfortable because we thought other tables could hear everything we said. The food choices weren't great either. We were with someone who had been here before and she said there were a lot fewer choices than the last time she was there. We ended up leaving to have dinner elsewhere.
