Solo traveler here: I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! The salsa was very good! I tried Terry's Plate because when I walked in I overheard a lady picking up her order and she said that dish. It was comforting with all the melted cheese on it. The churros were good too, I haven't had them before, they seemed a little tough on the outside but the inside was warm and soft with the filling. Very yummy!

Our food wasn't bad but service took forever. Other waiters helped us more than our own. 9 yr old niece and I had sweet tea...got refills and it tasted bad. Come to find out another waiter told us that they are making tea in jugs and they use the pitchers for beer as well. Apparently there was beer in the pitcher and they added tea to that. So a 9 yr old was served alcohol. Cashier comped 2 dollars off bill for mistake. But acted like it wasn't a big deal...what if it was an allergy and caused a reaction.

This place has amazing food. The service is hit or miss and this particular night, we had several "odd" experiences with our server. However, the food makes it easy to look beyond these things. If you are a fan of Mexican food, you have to try LA Cocina. If you have an appetite, try the "Dos Manos"...
