Have always enjoyed dining here since this spot was minutes from my home. Recently, I have found that La Familia has taken shortcuts on service and quality. I will continue to dine here, but if these issues are not resolved, we will find other restaurants interested in providing better service and quality dining.

The luncheon special I had was Scrod Francaise. It was an excellent piece of fish cooked to perfection in a garlic sauce with lemon and capers. My only issue was too many capers.. waitstaff was excellent, too.

Excellent place. A friend and I visited for lunch after a hike at the monastery grounds. It was Friday so I had the fish and chips replacing the chips for sweet potatoe variety. The piece of fish was huge and it was cooked well and not greasy at all. I would rate them near the top for fish and chips.
My friend had one of their traditional Italian meals. I forgot what it was but he thought the food was one of the best he's had for Italian fare.
Prices were very reasonable and service was very good. I can understand why the place was busy even on a week day. I would easily recommend this place.

I came here to grab drinks at the bar with a special someone. The bartender Tim had a ton of charisma and really created a fun experience for us during our outing. There aren’t many places you can go and get the level of service that he gave us.
The drinks were very well made… he even read my lady friend and offered her a specialty drink that he concocted. She was very impressed!
A couple of others joined us and had dinner… they were the ones that recommended the place. Tim set them up with a rewards card that they hadn’t known about and they really appreciated it.
Tim also offered us some fresh bread… it was fantastic! And we also threw in an order for meatball crostini, also very good!
We will be back soon! Thanks Tim!

Food was okay. Veal Parm was disappointing this time. Service was okay but not outstanding. Admittedly we were a big party, but I didn't feel particularly well attended. Some of the food others had was better and the fresh bread was, as ever, a highlight. In short, it was a serviceable but not particularly good meal. .
