Have always enjoyed dining here since this spot was minutes from my home. Recently, I have found that La Familia has taken shortcuts on service and quality. I will continue to dine here, but if these issues are not resolved, we will find other restaurants interested in providing better service and quality dining.

The luncheon special I had was Scrod Francaise. It was an excellent piece of fish cooked to perfection in a garlic sauce with lemon and capers. My only issue was too many capers.. waitstaff was excellent,too.

Excellent place. A friend and I visited for lunch after a hike at the monastery grounds. It was Friday so I had the fish and chips replacing the chips for sweet potatoe variety. The piece of fish was huge and it was cooked well and not greasy at all. I would rate them near the top for fish and chips. My friend had one of their traditional Italian meals. I forgot what it was but he thought the food was one of the best he's had for Italian fare. Prices were very reasonable and service was very good. I can understand why the place was busy even on a week day. I would easily recommend this place.
