This place was amazing!!! The dinner was absolutely fantastic. Every plate we ordered it was better than the previous. All the products are first quality and it is obvious that all the meals have been prepared carefully and meticulously. Desserts were incredible. This place is special, it is beautiful, charming, pleasant, and magic. If you are in DC, you must go, you will love it!

I want to preface this review by saying that I am not a connoisseur of french cuisine. My wife and I were recommended this place, so we decided to go for late dessert and drinks. Their pastries are all made in house and were extremely delicious. I also received a champagne recommendation from our server, which turned out to be some of the tastiest champagne that I've had. Their selection of drinks is extensive, so they have something for everyone. The service was great, and getting a reservation was pretty easy. They do not require reservations, but it seems to get pretty crowded on the weekends so I recommend it. We will definitely be returning here to try more of their menu, highly recommend.

Very crowded for Monday evening. They have a covered area attached to the restaurant that is heated. Less crowded and very comfortable. People in our party ordered the special and thought it was great. I was in the mood for a hamburger. It was a great burger and came with tons of fries - well done just like I like them. Service was impeccable. Never allowed my water glass to get less than half full. And the bread basket that came before the meal was outstanding.

Man, what a great brunch. We went here on a whim, and it was honestly the best meal of our entire trip. We had such great food and the staff was amazing. Even the bread basket was unreal. All of the food was stunning, especially the Benedict, absolutely out of this world. If you are ever in DC, you gotta go to this place, it will not disappoint.

I have *always* wanted to eat at Le Diplomate when I lived in DC, but I moved away before I was able to. I recently came to visit and I dined in for lunch with my family on Dec. 7th - our server was Lindsey and she was awesome. She was attentive, super kind, and very knowledgeable. We were having sort of a "send off" lunch as I am joining the Navy. She brought us some champagne so celebrate which was such a sweet surprise! She overheard our liking for dry wine and specifically picked a dry delicious bubbly for us to celebrate with. We enjoyed a bottle of Chablis that paired perfectly with the seafood appetizers we started with.
Lindsey did a stellar job. We never felt rushed - the vibes at Le Dip are immaculate. It's like being in your own movie, the atmosphere was bustling yet quiet and it feels like a little piece of France in the middle of DC.
