This place rates 2.5 stars. The ambiance was great. Chicken nachos which were fantastic and cow tongue tacos and salsa was very bland. Service was very slow and messed up orders. They forgot about my group a couple times and I had to go find them for orders and the bill.

I ordered from GrubHub, plated at home. My expectation was higher based on the overwhelming positive reviews. Grateful I only ordered 1 birria taco as there was a large piece of fat in it that was a very unpleasant texture to experience. The seasoning was also light. La Mesa Market are better in my opinion and can be ordered from the app too. Pictured here are the adobadas, meat a little dry. Overall good but Mexican food is competitive in our community so it's hard not to want "the best".

Came in for a to-go burrito and was given a menu where the burrito was $9.00. The check came and it was almost $13. When I asked the waitress why she just said rudely “oh yeah the menu is outdated” and refused to acknowledge responsibility. I didn’t tip her, paid, and left with the burrito. The burrito was ok, not very tasty but just..ok. Wouldn’t recommend this place for their rude staff and subpar food

There is a lot to like about this place. The food was very good. And the service was very nice. However, I brought the rating down because the place needed a good cleaning. We were there on a Sunday for a late lunch, so maybe it was just an off time. But it looked like no one had checked the bathroom in a while and there was some serious dust on the dining room ledges. Check it out for the food!
