A great find on the North Shore. While I am not the first to enjoy this place, it definitely adds a bit of refinement to the food scene that is full of food trucks and surfer vibes. Each of the drinks, beer selection, and menu options were great. We happened to order the crispy chicken sandwich, Spanish Lobster Roll, and the couscous salad with shrimp. I actually tasted each one and I was very happy with the flavor profiles. I think the salad was light with Mediterranean flavors and the lobster roll was delicate, yet filling. The sauce’s flavors grew stronger as it built with each bite (not hot or spicy but complimented the lobster without overpowering it). The coconut/guava soda was homemade and it is a tropical island in a glass. I bet this would make for a nice mixed drink too. The restaurant is worth a visit.

Wonderful night at Maya’s last night to celebrate the departure of a friend. Our party grew from 10 to 15, and even though the restaurant was fully booked, our hostess managed to move people around to accommodate so that we could all sit together. Cocktails were delicious (and strong!) and the food was excellent…we ended up ordering more tapas then we meant to as the night went on because each different one was so good. Favorites included the scallops, chicken bites, lamb empanadas, and lost at sea cocktails. Service was quick and friendly and our waters and drinks stayed full. Thank you so much Maya’s for making our evening special!

Pretty tasty and nice variety. Great place for sharing small plates with friends. Definitely want to make a reservation ahead of time, as it is a busy busy place. The lamb empanadas were fantastic pair with the sauce. The paella was on the thick side ( would have preferred a bit more liquid in the rice) and strong with the seafood flavor for my taste. We tries the hummus, and found it was great when mixed with the olive garnished on top. With out the olives, a little bland. Excellent drinks and a lovely ambiance!
