The escargot and onion soup were good but nothing amazing. Felt like there was too much oil/butter in the rainbow trout dish. The fish itself was nice together with the nuts. The quiche was tasty and had a decent portion. The steak was too chewy but compensated with nice flavors. We found a hair in the rainbow trout and our server immediately apologized and discounted us. Very nice service and lovely patio space as well.

Great dining experience at Sage in Tallahassee and pleasantly surprised. We visited Tally to attend an FSU Graduation, and out of the 3 restaurants that we tried, Sage Restaurant was by far the best of the 3! The 4 entrees were amazing! Onion soup was amazing, and the lamb chops, pork chop, salmon, and scallops and shrimp entrees were all incredibly delicious and demonstrated a special culinary creativity talent by the chef. Great family dinner, all of the dishes were perfect, and different as each dish was unique and creative. Thus, we enjoyed a great dining experience which is why one goes out to a restaurant. AMAZING! We are picky so for us to say this is because we truthfully loved it.

The Cuban sandwich is a subtantial almost perfect rendition of a traditional Cuban sandwich. This is still a magnificent flavor bomb that heartily satiates with the combination of consistencies. It's a southern smoked pork stacked with the perfect sweet ham that is used and it is delicious but would need to be a mojo to bring it closer to the traditional. The bread is also perfect for sweet and chewy with a crisp on the outer edge. Don't know if it's Cuban bread but still excellent. And this was after a 20 minute ride bringing those back home. I'll include a picture next time we pick them up.
