I never expected to give Shoney's a 4 star review. We stopped going there about 5 years ago, because the food seemed like the standard 'heat and eat' you get at so many chain restaurants. But, we live in a very small town that has limited choices if you don't feel like cooking, or driving 30 miles to a bigger selection. So, we almost tiptoed into our only choice other than fast food. We weren't surprised that the buffet was a bit skimpy, but we WERE surprised that the food on it was fresh and actually tasty! Since that night, we've been back twice! Unbelievable! We ate our Thanksgiving meal here. Squash Casserole was amazing. Staff was friendly and provided great service.

Stopped in before a gig and chowed down on the breakfast bar. Staff are nice... Place is clean... Food was good.
