This was a great find! The atmosphere was different but enjoyable. But the food and service where exceptional. Everything that we had was good. According to grandma the French onion soup “is the best she’s ever had” and I will say the same for the clam chowder. For the appetizers we got two, and I feel you could not go wrong with any you choose. Now let’s talk about the steak! Yes, it was perfect along with the mushrooms. We didn’t have room for desert, but I’m sure it was good as well. Last of all prices, very reasonable and more than fair for the quality! Highly recommend you stop in for dinner. Thanks for the good experience.

Enjoyed a Friday night meal with my husband and 89 year old father. We we arrived early without reservations and were seated immediately. Our server was very attentive and anticipated our needs before we asked which is a gift! We ordered cocktails which came promptly and were made as ordered ( my 89 year old father is a Karen he can get triggered if not made as requested). We ordered eggplant as a appetizer. We had a Cid fish fry and 2 baked cod dinners. The cod dinner came with soup or salad we had 1 of each. The salad was fresh and a great size.The soup was French onion and was very good. All 3 dinners were without any flaws. We especially enjoyed baked cod many places overcook this dish. My only recommendation would be to update your menu some. I feel you could subtract some items that just don't reflect the essence of a steak house. I also think the choice in music was interesting listening to commercials is disruptive if one's really a music person as I am. These things are just my opinion 🤷 however little changes can make big differences. Thank you for a nice meal in my hometown I hope your business continues to grow and thrive!

Walked in and was lead to most comfortable booth in house. The specials today were $8!!! I ended up getting the JR steer entree for 17$ the included clam chowder was so good with many clams that were bigger in the soup, will update after the steak maybe found this hidden gem too late as I am moving soon but so far amazing. Update: the filet for 17 is pretty incredible
