Twice I've placed an online order. 1st time the order appeared to have gone through as money was immediately withdrawn from my account. The site showed a pick up time of 7:40pm. Upon arrival the store assistant had just locked the doors. I knocked on the door and had a conversation through the locked door. She apparently never received the order and could not issue a refund as she never got the order. I had to wait business days for a refund. Mind you this was supposed to be my families dinner. So now had to spend more money on a McDonald's dinner. The 2nd time, the order was placed and money withdrawn. While on our way to pick it up the store assistant called and said she had to reject and cancel the order. That the store was super busy and she was there alone and couldn't handle my order of 5 sandwiches. Again had to wait business days for the refund. I know the saying, screw me once, shame on you... but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. So shame on me. This establishment has not changed in their poor management. When you are actually lucky enough to get food, they are usually out of toppings and there is always only one staff member working. Their phone is NEVER accepting calls. Actually has a recording stating so. To make this clear, the workers are not the ones at fault, it is the upper management for this Subway that needs to take full responsibility. They clearly should NOT have the online ordering turned on as they cannot handle these additional orders with the lack of staff. I have tried emailing corporate but that didn't go anywhere either. So if this saves at least one person time and aggravation.....
